Try this, I compiled the driver you requested using the kernel source code posted here

Thanks
now small update of my problem

i downloaded Your file and tryied to insmod it. and    it said it is already there.
now funny part when i lsmod it is not there
i tried to remove it with rmmod but i get (errno 2)

I checked dmesg and i see that when connected it is loading ok, system start it ok and i see right mac address and that interface is named eth0.
after command "ip addr" i see all interfaces and also my new eth0 with right mac address

Now my problem is that if i make dhcpcd -d eth0 i get ip like 162.186.102.201 so it gets none
i can set stable ip with ifconfig but even then i cant ping any of devices

and when i connect and disconect cable i get on dmesg "link down" and "link up, 100Mbs, full duplex, lpa 0x45E1" mesages

any clue what i'm do wrong what should be procedure to start it, perhaps sone config files should be updated?

edit
i even went to lewy20041 ICS firmare because it has ethetnet in gui but also no go.
Dmesg in attachment please help

Not sure why and I can't test here as i don't have that hardware. maybe it automatically loaded Have you tried setting gw and netmask as well as ip address with ifconfig. e.g.

ROOT!!

I did it by method on this link:

http://stuff24.de/blog/howto-root-minix-neo-x5-g4-rk3066/

First step 1 and Superoneclick said: root - but su app didnt get root access.

Second I tried method "update 1" and it worked - with the difference I used "TPSarky-VonDroid-Root new" tool witch came in zip or rar with FW. That tool worked. Not the one in first post of "How to root mk808" thread.

PS: - mk808 has to be turned on when this procedure is working, not turned off like I was doing for past three days
- I think it helped that my stick was connected as MTP device and not mass strorage (setting in upper right corner - three dots - in storage settings)

I hope this helps someone, sorry for my english

lewy,

I got my usb to ethenet adapter today, works great straight out the box, brilliant job on the ROM mate.

Here is a link to the adapter for mackowiakp & anyone else who is interested :-

One thing to note though is it wouldn't work on the OTG port, I had to plug it in the full sized USB port. Just done a speed test on it and I'm getting my full 30 meg download speed from virgin cable.

did you have to change anything? there are no settings i can find, i have the device plugged in (same one) and......nothing, no ethernet icon, no option to turn it on, either this device is faulty or im missing something

Bunjimun,

No mate I just plugged it in turned off wi-fi and it worked. I had to use the full sized USB port though, it wouldn't work through a hub.

Can you offer an image for the 8gb version of the MK808? I just updated to this rom, which is looking very sweet by the way, but it seems I lost much of my internal storage space.

Internal storage reports: 1.97GB
Nand Flash reports: 4.38GB
Shouldn't internal storage report just under 8GB?
Also, it looks like Nand is formatted like a flash drive and can even be mounted/unmounted.
Seems like I'm also missing about 2Gb, so what am I missing here?

Also, I followed your install instructions, but I got held up on this line below:
-next go to one-click and boost app anddb
I have no idea if this is an app called "one-click" (which I can't seem to find) or if this is part of the Android Tuner instructions, and if so, where would i find this?
Thanks, and good work by the way!

its normal that you dont have ful 8gb, try other rom and you wil see thats how it is. as for onclick, its a function of android tuner but only pro version so just skip it.
Everything is possible if we work together!
