Huh? Where in "Working Peripherals" section does it say USB sound is working?

The correct answer is NO for the current firmware/ROM.

to be honest, i dont believe in a new firmware :-( with the promise, that there will be a firmware upgrade the factory sold enough devices. everything after sales would shrink their profit margin. Actually i would put more hope into some new device which firmware we could use on our MK808.

geekbuying, please proof me wrong!

Hi guys:

Geekbuying is here, and don't disappear, :D we are keeping talking with factory for the firmware.

Recently, rockchip release a lot of new update for the tv box, I have sent a new firmware about the new tv box called " imito mx1" to deaphp1, and he already posted that, that is based on the lastest Rockchip patch. and the MK808 factory said, they should add all of the new patch to the firmware and release.

That's what i get from the factory, i also know this is the day i promise to you guys. I keep giving press to the factory. I want the MK808 better! just like you guys hope.

So factory said we should give them few days more to add the patch, I will trust them again, and then wait another few days.

thanks for your guys.

If we not get this new firmware as promised today, i will send it back
i hope everyone with not working units do the same, that it will give all sellers/factory the message "This is not ok"
many of us can not even get it work with tv.

This is rely false description as it only work with some few television
It not working in 1.6Ghz
Have massive wifi problem
True video output is locket to 1024x768 stretched to 1080p

Will not buy a product in the future that are not proven function as said

It must be a joke. The Mk808 is not working at all as it should. It should have been tested before selling it.
Selling a non-working device is simply a robbery.

code promotions and releases seldom make their targets (save things like nightly or experimental builds) so I'm not that upset it might take a few days more. My order should be here today so I'm going to start monkeying around with kernel code for now I think and just play around with it if I can. As long as I can get into recovery and adb I'll be happy lol if I wanted tried tested and true I would have gone with an 802 but I knew this was more bleeding edge no matter how it was described. Originally I was looking at a RaspberryPI but it's just not enough machine

HI guys, wait.

we just talk long time with factory, and told them because of they delay releasing the firmware, we are beating to death here, and if they don't solve the problem soon, there are no way to sell new device with bluetooth function ,we won't sell, and people won't buy it. and in the end, they promise me to work whole night today, and make sure to offer us a new firmware tomorrow as soon as they can.

guys, i hope you understand our position.

we are not the directly factory, we are just one of the seller for mk808, when you search mk808 on google and aliexpress, you will find tons of seller who are selling it, but ONLY US, we are always talking with factory, and report all of the bugs, and push them to release the new firmware.

and when this mk808 release to market, we do make the test, and till now, every mk808 which is sold by us is tested, but we don't find that problem you are talking, because in our country, we still don't have network which can reach 150mpbs. when we get report for the wifi, we immediately report to the factory, and ask them for a solution.

and in this time, we have spent lot's of time to find other device firmware, you guys can ask this forum's founder" deadhp1", and the ROM developer on freaktab.com , we have sent some firmware to them, and hope they can find the problem, and give us better firmware!!!

all what we do now, is wanting you guys know geekbuying is not like other china seller, which just take your money, but no support, we don't want to be that one!!!

Please give us one more day, please give factory one more day!!!

thanks

My unit actually works fairly well with the last upgraded firmware and a few hacks. I just appreciate the fact that you guys are still pushing out updates. Thanks to geekbuying, and I will be waiting patiently for your next firmware release. Don't give up.
